His parents were Albert George DUNHAM and Elizabeth PENHALL

He enlisted on 15th July 1915 with the 6th Infantry Battalion SN 5827

Unit embarked from Melbourne on 3rd July 1916 on HMAT Ayrshire

He was Killed In Action on 9th April, 1918 - no known grave

William is commemorated in the Australian National Memorial in Villers Bretonneux, France
