Son of William BAIRD and May Elizabeth BAIRD nee SMITH, Garvoc, Victoria.

Husband of Florence Jane BAIRD nee FRECKLETON

A former member of the A.I.F., Mr. William Baird, died at Colac, aged 45 years. He enlisted in 1910, and served in the 14th Battalion under Captain Jacka, V.C. He was wounded on  several occasions as well as being gassed. He had been on the staff of the Colac Dairying Company for several years.
