Biography contributed by Faithe Jones

Son of Harry and Emily BEZANT

Initially lived in Cooper Plains in WWI but then moved to Tiaro in WW2.

Served at Kelvin Grove in WW2 and was discharged medically unfit 30 January 1941

Later he lived at 54 Guava Street, Maryborough and later at 50 Pallas Street, Maryborough Qld - this house was designed by Henry Mail Addison and was built in 1892 for Mayor James Stafford. It was once set on six acres overlooking Ululah Lagoon.  The original cast iron lacework around the verandah was replaced by wooden lattice when the original was removed and melted down for the war effort.

He married Annie on 29 March 1929.
