15 Dec 1939:	Enlisted Australian Military Forces (WW2) , Private, QX6559, Enlisted at Thursday Island, Torres Strait, Queensland. Next of Kin (Wife) Adgie Blanco, Thursday Island, Torres Strait.
8 Jun 1941:	Involvement Australian Military Forces (WW2) , Sapper, QX6559, 2nd/31st Infantry Battalion, Syria - Operation Exporter, Advanced into Lebanon; engaged at Khirbe on 8-11 June and under heavy fighting in steep and rugged terrain, captured Jezzine on 14 June. Held the position against determined counter attacks, sustaining casualties before advancing north.
18 Jun 1941:	Wounded 2nd/31st Infantry Battalion, Syria - Operation Exporter, Wounded and evacuated to hospital.
21 Sep 1945:	Discharged Australian Military Forces (WW2) , Corporal, QX6559, 2nd/31st Infantry Battalion, Discharged at Redbank, Queensland.
