Son of George Pilkington Odlum and Evelina Cecilia Odlum nee Gillman of ''Basilwood, Royal Parade, Royal Park, Victoria.
Leslie was granted unpaid leave between 16 September 1918 until 13 March 1919
Commenced return to Australia on 11 April 1919 aboard SS Grampian via America which at his expense then to connect with SS Sonmona at St. Frises disembarking on 27 May 1919 at Sydney for onward travel to Melbourne.
