BRISBANE, Tuesday.
—A 13-year-old boy found his father lying crushed beneath his car in their garage at the Brisbane suburb of Mount Gravatt today. The boy jacked up the car and ran for help, but his father was dead when a doctor arrived. The dead man was Charles Arthur Burton, 43. He was found soon after midday by his son, Barry, who had arrived home from school for lunch.
Slipped Off
Barry went into the garage where his father had earlier jacked up the front of his car after removing the wheels to change a coil spring, and found his father lying pinned beneath the car. Police said the car had apparently slipped off the jack and pinned Burton.
