Jonathan Camm & Tassie Johnson were married on 5 August, 1912, in Rockhampton where Jonathan was a cleaner in the railway. When promoted to fireman, they transffered to Emerald then back to Rockhampton. When Jonathan passed his examination as a second-class engine driver in 1925. He was transferred to Mackay.
During the depression, Jonathan started driving the rail motor between Bloomsbury & Mackay. In 1931, he bought the farm at Mikoolu for the boys (Jack & Ron) to work.
Les & Sybil were enrolled at Bloomsbury School in 1931, Daphne in 1933, Stan in 1935 & Nita in 1937.
Les took over the farm from Jack & Ron until the war years, when he joined the army.
Leslie married Avril Jeppersen on 12th December, 1945.
Their children were all enrolled at Bloomsbury School: David in 1952 & Janice in 1956.
The family sold their property in Bloomsbury & moved to Broadmeadows Station to run cattle. After the development of the mining industry in the areaa they moved to Dalby.
