Tom
Thomas William Clarke, known to all as Tom, passed away peacefully in Proserpine Hospital on Wednesday. He was 73 years of age.
Tom was born in Proserpine on 25th August, 1921. He worked for Proserpine Sugar Mill, PMG & the railway till his retirement. Tom joined the army in 1941 & served until 1946.
He is survived by his wife Dorothy, 9 children, 22 grandchildren & 6
great-grandchildren.
His funeral was held on 28th July. in St Paul's Anglican Church. Keith Felgate conducted the church & graveside service. Being a returned serviceman, Tom was honored with an RSL service.
