James Albert Stephen DUFFUS was born in 1895, in Broken Hill New South Wales. He worked as a Labourer in Brighton, South Australia where he lived. Duffus enlisted when he was 21 years and 2 months. He was 5’5½ tall, weighed 122 lbs and had hazel eyes with dark brown hair. His mother Ellen Lambert who lived in Broken Hill was his nominated next of kin.
James Albert Stephen Duffus enlisted on the 13th of September 1915 and embarked 7th February 1916.
