When Percy Charles James Christmass was born on December 15, 1888, in Northam, Western Australia, his father, Charles, was 25 and his mother, Susan, was 21. He had three brothers and four sisters. He died on January 25, 1917, in Wiltshire, at the age of 28, and was buried in Salisbury, Wiltshire.
