Biography contributed by Claude McKelvey

Brother of Maurice Vessey Fitzgerald QX62880.

Harry married Mary Hanush on 16 Feb 1947 at Babinda Qld. Mary was the daughter of Frank & Mary Hanush the owners of Hanush's Cordials which began in Babinda and would become the most well known softdrink manufacturer in far north Qld. Harry and Mary took over the buisness (then in Draper St, Cairns) when Mary's parents retired, selling the business to Coca-cola when they in turn retired.
