Son of William Kenyon and Rhoda Julia Kenyon of Rous, Richmond River, NSW. Brother of Alexander Richmond Kenyon MID who returned to Australia in early 1919 haviing served with the 41st Battalion

Commenced return to Australia on 24 August 1918 aboard HT City of Karachi disembarking on 24 October 1918 at Melbourne for onward travel to Brisbane
