Add my storyBiography contributed by Ross Golden
Fred was the son of Charles Golden of "Canal", a grazing property in the Yuleba-Taroom area. He was in a unit based around Brisbane, initially, then transferred to another unit which went to PNG, where he was involved with the Battle of Shaggy Ridge, before being discharged, due to family necessity.
