When Leslie HERSCHELL was born on 5 October 1917 in Chinchilla, Queensland, his father, Alexander, was 25 and his mother, Elizabeth, was 23.
He married Emily Sarah Tickner on 21 March 1940 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.
Leslie passed away at his home, 16 The Crescent, Kallangur, Qld on 14 February 1987 and his ashes were interred in the Albany Creek Memorial Park Cemetery and Crematorium, Bridgeman Downs, Brisbane City, Queensland, Australia.
He was 69 years.
