Private Patricia Beatrice Johnson (Service Nos:QF14552/QFX61122/QX61122) initially served with the Voluntary Aid Detachment (VAD), providing medical assistance and support to soldiers and civilians. Private Johnson then enlisted in the Australian Army Medical Women's Service on 11 May 1942, transferring to the AIF on 3 June 1944. Private Johnson - graded Nursing Orderly - served with 2/12 Australian General Hospital (AGH), 8 Australian Camp Hospital (ACH), and was attached to LHQ Research Unit at Discharge on 12 March 1946.

Tricia was born in Warwick, QLD in 1922, eldest of two children of Roland Warwick Johnson (b1896 in Warwick, QLD) and Edith Maud Meggitt (b1896 in Brisbane, QLD). Roland was working as a Draper in Warwick in 1917 when he enlisted in the AIF (Service No:5044). Following his Discharge in 1919, he returned to Warwick, and was a Partner/Managing Dircector with his father in WG Johnson & Sons (General Merchants - Grocery, Drapers, Hardware) in 1922 when he and Edith married in Brisbane. The couple settled in Warwick, where they raised their family and Roland was Managing Director/Merchant. In the 1950s they moved to Brisbane.

Tricia studied Music (Piano) from an early age, and following her Discharge from the Army, in 1951 in Brisbane married Charles Douglas Mowbray (b1911 in Bendigo, Victoria) - Charles served in the Army (Captain; Service No:VX39720). Tricia and Charles settled in Maryborough via Ballarat, where they raised their family and Charles was a Bank Manager with the English, Scottish and Australian (ESA) Bank. Charles died in 1998 and Tricia in 2018.
