Private Harold Vivian Brown (Service No:QX37588) initially served with the ACMF (Trooper; Service No:Q105773) with 5th Light Horse Regiment from 22 February 1941 to 9 July 1942. He then served with the AIF as a Private with 5th Motor Regiment and 2/7 Infantry Battalion. Private Juler served at Aitape (1 December 1944 - 1 August 1945) and was attached to 2/7 Infantry Battalion at Discharge on 1 November 1945.

The eldest of four children, Harold was born in 1920 at Tewantin QLD to Vivien Finney Juler (b1889 at Tewantin, QLD) and Maria (Sophie) Sophia Eriksonn (b1893 at Munsala, Finland) - Sophie arrived in Fremantle WA in 1913 on board the Orama. Vivien (a Labourer) and Sophie married in 1919 in Tewantin where they raised their family and Vivien was a Labourer.

Harold worked as a Farm Labourer in Gympie, QLD before enlistment, and in 1943 in Gympie married Jessie Marie Nobbs (b1919 in Gympie, QLD). Harold and Jessie lived in Gympie where Harold was a Farmer before moving to Cooroy in the early 1950's (Harold worked as a Sawyer). In the early 1960s the family moved to Wynnum in Brisbane QLD where they settled and raised their family and Harold was a Bus Driver. Harold died in 2002 and Jessie in 2010.
