18 January 1915 - his father Alfred signs a letter of consent alowing William to join the AIF

21 September 1916 - returned to Australia for the first time on board Ascanius

13 February 1917 returned to Australia on board Ulysses

10 June 1935 - he applied for a replacement discharge paper while living at 34 Lachlan Avenue, Darlinghurst, NSW

19 October 1961 - William applied for a pension
