CHAMBERLAIN.—In loving memory of a dear friend, Private Stanley Chamberlain, who was killed in action in France, May 3, 1917.
We tried our best to keep him,
We pleaded for him to remain;
But he said, my country is calling,
Let me go or I will be to blame.
His King and country called him,
The call was not in vain;
On Britain's roll of honour,
You will find dear Stanley's name.
