Son of John OÇonnor and Maggie Sarah OÇonnor nee Dunn of Ósterberg', Caloola Avenue, Oakleigh, Victoria.
At the time of enlistment Reginald was employed as a surveyor with the Victorian State Rivers & Water Supply.
Commenced return to Australia on'19 October 1917 aboard HT Por Lyttleton disembarking on 15 December 1917
