Cipher
My great Aunt Joan once told me a story about how she was the first one to receive and decode through cipher the information regarding the end of world war 2. For a time she was the only person in Australia who knew of the end before she reported it to her superior, a man of course. It’s a shame these amazingly intelligent women had to keep secrets to their death. And never truly recognised for their outstanding work behind the scenes.
She became a successful business woman when it was not at all popular and married Harold Goodin of the green Berets she adopted two children one of which had a disability.
She was a kind, stunning redhead and I loved her very much, she always had time for every one. I still miss her.
