WW1 - Served in the AIF - enlisted 10 Jan 1916 and embarked from Sydney on board the HMAT A40 Ceramic on 14 April 1916.
Was in 3rd Battalion, 17th Reinforcement - and transferred to the 55th Battalion.
02 June 1919 - Returned to Australia on the Beltana, disembarking on 20 July 1919.
04 Sep 1919 - was discharged from the AIF.
