Corporal Norman Adam Perrett (Service Nos:QX43491/Q114538) enlisted in the ACMF in August 1940 and in November 1942 enlisted in the AIF. Based mostly in Townsville, he served with 115 Reserves MT Coy and was attached to 127 Australian General Transport Coy when Dicharged in May 1946.

Born in Mackay QLD in 1915, Norman Jnr was the only child of Norman Adam Perrett (b1886 in Ipswich, QLD) and Agnes Mary Kerley (b1890 in Ipswich, QLD). Norman Snr worked for QLD Railways - as a Locomotive Cleaner and Fireman at Bundamba. He and Agnes married in July 1915 in Ipswich QLD - ten days before Norman enlisted in the AIF (Private; Service No:279). Norman Snr and Agnes lived in Bundamba, Ipswich and Roma QLD where Norman worked for QLD Rail as a Locomotive Driver.

Following his father's death in 1937, Norman Jnr and his mother Agnes lived in Mackay QLD where Norman worked for QLD Rail as a Fireman. He was a Labourer in August 1940 when he enlisted in the ACMF. Following his Dicharge in 1946, Norman worked as a Clerk and died in 1964.
