Biography

Leo Peachell enlisted on 7 July 1915 as Private and joined the 20th Battalian, 3rd Reinforcement. His unit sailed from Sydney, New South Wales, on board HMAT A54 Runic on 9 August 1915 (AWM Embarkation Roll 23/37/2). He was attached to the Australian Corps Signal Company. He retuned to Australia on 19 April 1919.

During his service, Leo Peachell was awarded the following medals:
