Half brother to John Sidney Quill who returned to Australia on 31 May 1919 having served with the 3rd Field Artillery Brigade

Commenced return to Australia on 24 December 1918 aboard HT Takada disembarking on 11 February 1919 at Melbourne for onward travel to Sydney
