On 22 May 1922 Cyril married Gwendoline Minnie Stidston in St. Bartholomews Church, Norwood, SA

At the time of his death he was residing in Rostrevor, SA

Commenced return to Australia on 20 December 1917 aboard HT Runic disembarking on 12 February 1918
