John was my Great Uncle he was my late Grandfathers brother .
Their mother died not long after the birth of my Grandfather Arthur she had Tuberculosis .
John was age 10 when his mother died and his father who was from Westbury upon Trym near Bristol in England he had to put his children into care until he remarried .
He married in 1910 and had 2 children a girl and a boy that both died very young . His 1st wife died and he remarried later but had no other children . He died in Sydney age 76 and is buried at Rookwood Cemetery .
