KILLED IN ACTION.
A cable has been received in Blayney announcing that Privato Nicholas H. Hoynes has been killed in action. The young soldier, who was only about 20 years of ago, was well-known in the district. His late father, who followed farming pursuits, died some little time ago. Much sympathy will go out to Mrs. Hoynes and family in their sad bereavement.
