Thomas Joseph (Tom) was the ninth of ten children of George Treagle (a Confectioner born in 1870 in Ipswich, QLD) and Marie Elizabeth Pinney (a Laundress, born in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire UK).
Tom lived in Ipswich, QLD and worked as a Machinist until his marriage in 1932 to Audrey Agnes Williams. Tom and Audrey moved to Brisbane, QLD where Tom was employed as a Storeman until he enlisted in the ACMF in 1942 and served as a Private (Service No: Q200268) with 1 Battalion Volunteer Defence Corps (QLD).
Wife Audrey died in Brisbane in 1962, and in 1968 Tom married for the second time in Brisbane, QLD to Audrey Addison. They lived in Brisbnae QLD where Tom was a Clerk and Audrey a Shop Assistant..
Tom died in 1983 in Brisbane, QLD
