Henry Thomas (Harry) was the eldest of seven children of Thomas Henry Vines (born in Vegatable Creek, NSW) and Margaret Gurowski (born in Caboolture QLD) 

Harry married Gwendoline Rose Dutton in 1935 in Brisbane, QLD and was living in Nundah working as a Baker when he enlisted in WWII

Harry continued to live in Nundah and work as a Baker until his death in 1960
