Medically Unfit by medical board (16/8/41) and moved to 2 Austr. General Hospital on 27/8/41. Discharged for return to Aust. on 31/8/41 and embarked on 2/9/41. Upon rtn to Brisbane on 3/10/41, granted leave til 0900hrs 20/10/41. Upon rtn from leave was admitted to 112 Aust. General Hospital, then to 101 Convalescent Depot on 19/5/42 for rtn to service.
