"...Beloved husband of Anne and loving father of Julie and Catherine. Loving Grandpa to Mackenzie, Jarvis and Oliver. Loving brother to Sharon. Born in Rockhampton, joined the Army when he was 17, accepted to SAS, served in Vietnam. He said he "dabbled" with jobs such as painter, baker, carpet layer, insurance agent until he found his dream job as the Plant Manager at Pioneer Concrete, Mandurah. In his younger days he liked to play darts, golf, and was very social. He loved his scotch and cigarettes.
