SON ATTACKS HIS PARENTS.
A shooting affray occurred on Sunday morning at Hurstville. Wilfred Abbey, 35, a groom living in William Street, armed with a Lee Enfield rifle, called at his parents residence in the same street, and it is alleged, started shooting at his father and mother. He fired five or sixshots, one of which injured his mother slightly in the back of the neck. He then went outside and fired several more shots at the house, after which he put the rifle under his chin and pulled the trigger, death being almost instantaneous. No reason can be assigned for the son's action.
