James William Gamble was born on 30 Apr 1869 in Queensland, a son to Charles Gamble and Margaret Gamble (nee Guilfoyle). He married Ida Cecilia Donaldson on 24 Aug 1903 in Queensland and they had 8 children. He worked as a waterside worker and they were living in the Woolloongabba area when he passed in 1925.
