Brother of Daniel Henry Cashel Yeates who returned to Australia on 18 October 1916 having served with the 2nd Australian Remount Unit, Alfred Miles Yeates, Herbert Yeates, Gilbert de Lacey Yeates, Walter Cudmore Yeates, Kenneth Barr Yeates, Florence Yeates, Sidney Yeates and Edwin Yeates
