James William Macarthur ONSLOW was born in Camden Park NSW on 7th November 1867
His parents were Arthur Alexander Walton ONSLOW & Elizabeth MACARTHUR
He served during the Boer War with the 5th Battalion Commonwealth Horse and also served during WW1 - he returned to Australia and was discharged on 22nd February, 1917
James married Enid Emma MACARTHUR in Sydney on 15th December, 1897 - 3 known children, Arthur James, Helen Maud & Elizabeth Enid
He died on 17th November 1946 at Camden Park and is buried in a private family cemetery - his funeral was held at St Johns Church of England in Camden
