FORMER MAYOR DIES
Mr. W. H. Stratton, a/ former mayor of Hindmarsh, died today. He was 72.
A Boer War veteran. Mr. Stratton was for many years a County Board of Health oficer and a member of Adelaide Bowling Club. He was a chairman of the Campbelltown District Council before the mayoralty was established, and a member of the Metropolitan Abattoirs Board. The funeral will leave his home at Nelson street, Stepney, at 3 p.m. tomorrow for Hindmarsh cemetery.
