Arthur Dudley BERNARD was born in Randwick, Sydney on 28th February, 1924
His parents were David Leon BERNARD & Florence Maud ROBERTS
He died on 19th February, 1948 when a RAAF Lincoln Bomber crashed near Amberley Aerodrome with the loss of 16 lives
BERNARD, Arthur Dudley (Tishy) , - Killed In the R.A.A.F. Lincoln bomber crash, Amberley, Queensland, February 19, 1948 youngest son of the late Mr. and Mrs D. L. Bernard loving brother of Clive (deceased) David, Clifford (deceased) and Billy, nephew of Mr. and Mrs. W. Wynne-D'Glorion, aged 24 years.

On the 19th of February 1948 Lincoln aircraft A73-11 of Number 12 Squadron (82 Wing) crashed on landing at Amberley aerodrome in Queensland killing all on board - 6 crew and 10 passengers -
