Archibald Campbell MACADAM was born in Bearsden, Scotland on 28th June 1893

His parents were James & Margaret MACADAM

He married Isabel Margaret HALLORAN in Tumut in 1923

He served in both WW1 and WW2 & was awarded a Military Medal

1. Mark Robert MACADAM (SN 5658)and (SN N202315)- awarded a Military Medal - served in both WW1 and WW2

2. Stephen Johnstone Ambrose MACADAM (SN NX29481) and (SN 610) served in both WW1 and WW2- died of illness in Sandakan Borneo whilst a prisoner of war on 3rd April, 1945
