"...VX46480 Corporal Clement Douglas Coridas, 2/29 Battalion. Cpl Coridas enlisted on 26 July 1940 and fought in Malaya and Singapore. Cpl Coridas was taken prisoner of war (POW) of the Japanese. He survived the war and returned to Australia being discharged on 9 July 1946." - SOURCE (www.awm.gov.au)
