Mac was born on 11 February 1906 in Devonport West Tasmania. He enlisted in WA No 4 Recruiting Centre on 11/9/1940. His service was with the RAAF form 3 September 1939 until 30 June 1947. He served both inside Australia and overseas.
His service medals included the 1939-45 Star, Pacific Star, War Medal 1939 -45, Australian Service Medal 1939-45,Return form Active Service Badge.
He was discharged 14 November 1945.
