CORBETT - In loving memory of my dear son and our brother, Private D. E. Corbett (Mick), who died of wounds November 16, 1916, aged 22 years.
One year has passed, our hearts still sore,
As time goes on we miss you more.
Your loving smile, your welcome face,
There is no one can fill your place.
' Some may think the wound is healed,
For they cannot feel the sorrow
In our aching hearts concealed.
No matter how we pray, dear Dick,
No matter how we call,
There is no one to answer us
But your photo on the wall.
Sadly missed by his loving mother, sisters, and brothers, William, Eddie, Maudie, and Mary.

One year today a message came
From God, Who thought it best
To take you from this weary world
To dwell among the blest.
Sadly missed by his loving sister and brother-in-law, Maudie and Joe Piggott, also nephew Johnny.

He'll be remembered as one of the best.
