Frank Charlton served in the 2/24th during WW2. He was proud to be a RAT of. Trobuk. Subsequently wounded in Syria he returned to Victoria and despite his handicaps, successfully established and ran a Soldier Settlers farm at Mt Mercer in Victoria. He retired to St Leonards was an active Legatee and member of the RSL and is buried in The Drysdale Cemetary. RIP.
