Son of Thomas Forrest Hugall and Dora (nee Hemmerling) Hugall of HIll Street, East Fremantle; brother of Jessie Hemmerling Hugall and Leslie Forrest Hugall

Malcolm had an ex-nuptial son Phillip Malcolm Brough with a lady named Olive Ellen Brough later know as Olive Ellen Martin of North Adelaide. Phillip received his father's medals

Medals: 1914-15 Star, Victory Medal. The War Medal was giving to Malcolm's father Thomas Hugall
