Biography contributed by Robert Kearney
Sorry to hear about Clive Dick ringing the final bell. Clive was in my platoon , B coy 4 pl 2 section. He was a quiet chap, didn't drink or smoke but always was a good soldier & a good bloke. He loved his Akai tape dec & the flash radio that you could get Radio Moscow on almost . He was with Bob Leckie's section & I think he did a full tour.
Regards
Mo Hancock

Clive was deployed to South Vietnam to join 1 ARU from 13 May to 3 June 1969. On 4 June he was posted to 5 RAR and served in 4 Platoon B Company for the balance of the battalion’s 1969-70 Tour.
He re-enlisted in 1977 and served for a further 21 years in the ARA. During his basic training on his return to the ADF he was known as Grand-pop because of his age and the wearing of his service ribands.
