He was 26 and a son of John and Rebecca Racheal [Racheal?] Kenna, of Coonabarabran, New South Wales.
His brother died in France on 5th August 1916. He was also 26 and also served with the 18th Battalion. He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial. He was Private James Martin Kenna,Service Number 2514.
