WXM12365 Private 44th Battalion

Enlisted 18 August 1940 at Kalgoorlie W Aust

Called up for full time duty on 19 December 1941

WX26649 transferred to the AIF on 8 July 1942 at Dandaragan W Aust, for duty with the 44th Battalion as part of the Special Mobile Force

Taken on Strength of the 2/48th Battalion on 5 July 1944. Saw service on Tarakan

Taken on Strength of the 2/3rd Pioneers on 25 October 1945 following disbanding in the field of the 2/48th Battalion

Taken on Strength of the 10th Garrison Regiment on 21 January 1946 as a POW guard.

Discharged at Perth W Aust on 28 March 1946.
