Served during WW1 with AIF. Awarded Militart Medal (as Robert JONES) in 1918. Wounded twice (GSW buttocks & gassed).

 

Served during WW2 as Lt with 5 BATALLION VOLUNTEER DEFENCE CORPS.

 

Married in England to Isabella AIREY.
