Died on this date - 20th April.......Driver Frank John Hill was born in London, England in 1875. He enlisted in the Australian Imperial Force on 17th May, 1917 as a 42 year old, married (with 2 children) Storeman from Indooroopilly, Queensland.

Driver Frank John Hill was marched in to A.S.C. (Army Service Corps) Training Depot at Parkhouse from Australia on 27th December, 1917.

Emily Hill, wife of Driver Frank John Hill, died on 4th January, 1918.
Driver Hill was marched in to Boyton, Wiltshire A.A.S.C. detachment on 23rd January, 1918 to 23rd September, 1918. He proceeded overseas to France on 13th October, 1918.

Driver Hill was marched out to Base Depot for Demobilisation on 26th March, 1919 & marched out to England on 4th April, 1919. He disembarked at Southampton to report to 1st Training Battalion at Sutton Veny, Wiltshire on 6th April, 1919.

Driver Frank John Hill was sent sick to 1st Australian General Hospital at Sutton Veny, Wiltshire on 6th April, 1919 & admitted the same day seriously ill with Influenza.

Driver Frank John Hill died at 11 p.m. on 20th April, 1919 at the No. 1 Australian General Hospital, Sutton Veny of Broncho Pneumonia.

Driver Frank John Hill was buried in St. John the Evangelist Churchyard at Sutton Veny, Wiltshire, England. The churchyard contains a total of 141 Australian WW1 Soldiers & 2 Australian Nurses.
