Australian War Memorial hold a Flying Log book, associated with Flight Lieutenant Bryan Stanley Mulcahy, 460 Squadron, RAAF. Mulcahy took part in many bombing operations over Germany and in Operation Manna in April - May 1945 over the Netherlands. In 1945 he was awarded a Distinguished Flying Cross for "fortitude, courage and devotion on numerous operations". Mulcahy was killed in a plane crash in Queensland in 1948.

On the 19th of February 1948 Lincoln aircraft A73-11 of Number 12 Squadron (82 Wing) crashed on landing at Amberley aerodrome in Queensland killing all on board - 6 crew and 10 passengers -
