FRANKLIN: On February 19, 1948, at Amberley, Queensland, in air craft accident, Flight-Lt. Mostyn, late of Three Springs, loved nephew of Minnie and Tony Bone, cousin of Jeanne, Myra. Tuppie and Bennie, of North Perth.

FRANKLIN (Flt-Lt. M. L.): A tribute to Mos.. killed in aircraft crash at Amberley, loved cousin of Jeanne and Stan Arthur.

His Welcome Home Social was largely attended by residents from Arrino, Three Springs, Perenjori, Carnamah and Coorow [4]
The evening was organised by the Youngest Set of the C.W.A. and included a dance to music supplied by Carter's Orchestra [4]
On behalf of the residents of the district the Chairman of the Three Springs Road Board cordially welcomed him home [4]
According to electoral rolls he resided in Three Springs until 1947 [19]
